Spider-Man 2 seems to be the universally accepted GOAT of Spidey films.

No Way Home was a HUGE mix bag for me. I loved seeing all three Spideys team up and the legacy villians return. But the overall plot was a mess and the film struggled to juggle all these characters together. The whole "cure the villians" thing was just poor writing. And the maskless Goblin... WTF!

I liked the Cure The Villains idea, as it reveals the more wholesome hero part of Spidey...BUT I do take issue with all the cures being figured out in one night lol.

I was quite cool with a maskless Goblin, especially since the original film mask was terrible. This way we got to utilize Dafoe's amazing face, and how well he can go back and forth between Norman and The Goblin personalities with such facial distortion. Plus, nifty detail: he had his caps removed for all the scenes where he's in the Goblin persona, so his teeth are much more angled and sharper.
