New to me
I watched this film yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. As someone who hates religion (for reasons I won't go into here) I wasn't certain what to expect from the film. Turns out it was more twisted than I imagined. Without giving away spoilers the movie is about two Mormon missionaries (girls) who go to this man's home to try and convert him. Turns out the knocked on the wrong door and you quickly realize this man is a bit... "off".
The movie takes some time to get going but once it does, let's just say you won't be disappointed. The acting is well done and once the truth is revealed in the final act it's quite sad imo. The only thing I did not care for was how it ended. It's one of those films that is kind of open to interpretation with that last scene.

This film was good. I'm surprised it took you this long to watch it considering it was about hate for religion.

I feel like it wasn't necessarily an anti-religious film though.Dr. Kain wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 8:02 am This film was good. I'm surprised it took you this long to watch it considering it was about hate for religion.![]()
